The EQ bands are very subtle but definitely noticeable which makes it a great pedal to use in a chain! the MXR is just louder (and with that, more noise) so no real advantage to spending the extra bread.

The CP-03 is a compact pod which is designed to connect between your power supply and first inline pedal.
