Operating remotely and working from home has become a new reality for many and employers, employees and students alike are all looking for ways to adapt. As the UK’s National Measurement Institute, NPL has always played a leading role in providing training in measurement science – an essential skill for the current and future workforce. Where this occurs, it would be really useful for the clinical coach to write a comment at the end of placement, noting the student’s progress. electronic nursing progress log (the NPL) which has been designed to support a process of clinical mentorship and learning in addition to recording competence achievement. Awarding institutions may use the NPL or develop their own recording systems. Ensure that you document an appropriate range of points so that across all of your experiences you show a good breadth of experience:

The student does not need to log anymore experiences for disposing of anatomical waste. Focus should be on disposing of a variety of other different types of waste, not yet covered.
